Corporate Citizenship, Social Responsibility and Good Business

Think printing hasn’t changed in the last 40 years?  You’ll be right if I asked this question last year, but something new is taking shape and we want to be a part of it and present it to you for your buying decision.   Color Graphics believes strongly in the environmental trend of forest management and the entire chain of custody the paper industry is taken the lead with. Color Graphics will adopt this program and take responsibility for the use of the Earth’s resources seriously.  We want to take the necessary steps and pledge to offer products that fulfill the highest measures of preserving our living environment.  Going beyond the traditional commitments of soy-based inks, and recycling materials and substrates, waste and paper, we will uphold these standards while progressing into the future.  The impact on our environment is immediately felt as we make these smart choices.  How are we doing this?  By aligning ourselves with printers who are FSC certified and receive certification from the Rain Forest Alliance Smartwood program.  See below for their respective websites for more information that we couldn’t possibly relay here.  Also, we encourage the advancement of solar power by purchasing verifiable energy credits, helping to minimize our footprint on the environment by supporting renewable energy and offsetting carbon in the ozone. It’s amazing and makes sense, good business sense.  We recently joined the Nature Conservancy, as we believe its mission and work.

Color Graphics will introduce these related industry endeavors and applications into new terrorities where we can, such as; our digital offset divisions, our tradeshow graphics arenas, and publishing division and mail processing functions.  We are constantly looking for ways to improve and learn.  And what we learn we will pass on so that we can all work to live better.
